Reese Langer was a fun loving 13 year-old from Eagle, Idaho. She was weeks away from finishing 7th grade at Eagle Middle School and looking forward to summer.
She loved spending time with her family more than anything. Whether it be camping, swimming, skiing, boating or simply taking the dogs for walks, she made it special. Reese was also a proud cheerleader at Idaho Cheer. Her compassion for the community was shown through volunteering with her mom at nonprofit events whenever possible.
Reese was diagnosed with food allergies and asthma at a young age. She was great about knowing what foods she couldn't have and where those ingredients would likely be hiding.
On May 16th, 2021, Reese ate a dessert that she thought was safe while attending a cheer banquet. She had a severe allergic reaction and passed away May 20th, 2021.
We will always remember her for her sweet spirit, pure heart and infectious smile. She lived life with the utmost kindness and innate ability to make those around her feel loved and included. Reese was fun, bubbly and an amazing friend to all. You couldn’t know Reese without loving her. Her happiness and care for others made her a bright light wherever she went. She could and would talk to anyone, and when you were in her company you wanted to stay.
If Reese were here today, she would want us all to know that life is short- live fully, be kind, love hard and always give with all of your heart. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love leaves a memory no one can steal. Reese made an impression on our hearts we will always cherish. Rest well sweet angel, we love you tremendously.
